About the Corroventa A2

The Corroventa A2 works differently from a standard dehumidifier. Instead of cooling the air, it passes it through a desiccant rotor that absorbs the moisture. That means it keeps drying effectively in cold, unheated buildings, garages and outbuildings, where refrigerant machines slow down.

It is light, compact and very quiet, which makes it a good choice for homes that are still being lived in. It also supplies the dry air for pressure drying, when it is used with the Corroventa T2 turbine and hose system to dry under floors and inside walls.

Best for

  • Cold or unheated buildings
  • Occupied homes where noise matters
  • Drying floor voids and walls with the T2 turbine
  • Small to medium drying jobs

Questions about the Corroventa A2

How is this different from a normal dehumidifier?+

It uses a desiccant rotor to absorb moisture rather than cooling the air, so it keeps working well in cold spaces where standard dehumidifiers lose performance.

Does it collect water in a tank?+

No. The moisture leaves the machine as warm, damp air through a separate outlet, which is ducted outside.

Is it quiet?+

Yes. It runs at around 50–55 dB(A), making it suitable for lived-in homes.

Can it be used to dry under a floor?+

Yes. Paired with the Corroventa T2 turbine and a hose system, it supplies the dry air that is forced into floor voids and walls.

Do you deliver and collect?+

Yes. We deliver and collect across Wiltshire, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Somerset and north Dorset, within roughly an hour of Trowbridge. We can set the machine up for you, or drop it off with instructions.

How long can I hire it for?+

By the day or by the week. Weekly hire works out cheaper, and most drying jobs need at least a week. Call us and we will advise how long your job is likely to take.

How much does it cost to hire?+

Call 07971 435221 or send an enquiry and we will give you a price for your dates, including delivery.

Is the machine checked before it goes out?+

Yes. Every machine is checked before each hire.

What if it stops working during the hire?+

Switch it off at the wall and call us. We will talk you through it or swap the machine.

Can you do the drying for me instead?+

Yes. We offer a full structural drying service with moisture readings and a drying report for your insurer. Structural and building drying

Safety information

  • Read the operating instructions supplied with the machine before switching on. If anything is unclear, call us first.
  • Keep the machine upright. If it has been laid on its side during transport, stand it upright for at least 30 minutes before switching on.
  • Plug directly into a suitable, undamaged socket. Do not use damaged leads, and if an extension lead is unavoidable, use a correctly rated one that is fully unwound.
  • Use an RCD-protected supply where possible.
  • Stand the machine on a firm, level surface, away from standing water.
  • Keep the air inlet and outlet clear. Never cover the machine or place anything on top of it while it is running.
  • Route power cables and drain hoses so they are not a trip hazard, and check the hose is not kinked or crushed.
  • Keep children and pets away from the machine.
  • Switch off and unplug before moving, emptying or checking the machine.
  • Indoor use only. Do not use the machine outdoors or expose it to rain.
  • If the machine makes an unusual noise, smells of burning, or stops working, switch it off at the wall and call us on 07971 435221. Do not open the casing or attempt repairs.
  • Where electrics may have been affected by flood water, do not use any sockets until they have been checked by a qualified electrician.

Specific to this unit

  • The wet air outlet releases warm, moist air. It must be ducted outside or away from the space being dried using the Ø80 mm outlet, otherwise the moisture goes straight back into the room. We set this up for you.
  • The dry air coming out of the machine is warm. Do not point it at anyone or at heat-sensitive items.
  • Do not block the dry air or wet air outlets.
