About the Refina RFX210 Floor Stripper

The Refina RFX210 is a professional floor stripper for lifting old or water-damaged floor coverings. Its 210 mm hardened steel blade gets under vinyl, lino, carpet tiles, rubber and foam-backed coverings and lifts them cleanly, along with much of the old adhesive and underlay.

It can be used handheld for smaller areas and edges, or walked behind for larger floors. The vibration-dampened handle reduces fatigue on bigger jobs, and the large wheels make it easy to move around site.

Best for

  • Lifting flood-damaged vinyl, lino and carpet tiles
  • Removing rubber and foam-backed coverings
  • Clearing old adhesive and underlay
  • Preparing floors for new coverings

Questions about the Refina RFX210 Floor Stripper

What will it lift?+

Vinyl, lino, carpet tiles, rubber and foam-backed coverings, ceramic tiles, and old adhesive and underlay, from concrete, screed or timber floors.

How quickly does it work?+

Up to 60 m² an hour, depending on the covering and how well it is stuck down.

Can it be used by hand?+

Yes. It works as a handheld tool for edges and small areas, or walk-behind for larger floors.

My floor tiles are old. Is it safe to strip them?+

Older floor tiles and black adhesive can contain asbestos, particularly if they were fitted before 2000. If you are not sure, have the floor tested before you start. We are happy to advise.

Do you deliver and collect?+

Yes. We deliver and collect across Wiltshire, Swindon, Bath, Bristol, Somerset and north Dorset, within roughly an hour of Trowbridge. We can set the machine up for you, or drop it off with instructions.

How long can I hire it for?+

By the day or by the week. Weekly hire works out cheaper, and most drying jobs need at least a week. Call us and we will advise how long your job is likely to take.

How much does it cost to hire?+

Call 07971 435221 or send an enquiry and we will give you a price for your dates, including delivery.

Is the machine checked before it goes out?+

Yes. Every machine is checked before each hire.

What if it stops working during the hire?+

Switch it off at the wall and call us. We will talk you through it or swap the machine.

Can you do the job for me instead?+

Yes. We handle the whole job, from drying and strip-out through to repairs and reinstatement. Call 07971 435221 to talk it through. Flood damage repairs

General safety – tools and cleaning equipment

  • Read the operating instructions supplied before use. If you have not used this type of equipment before, ask us to show you how it works when we deliver it.

  • Switch off and unplug (or remove the battery) before changing blades, filters or accessories, and before cleaning or moving the equipment.
  • Flood water can contain sewage and chemicals. Wear gloves, wash your hands after use, and do not eat or drink in the work area.
  • Where electrics may have been affected by flood water, do not use any sockets until they have been checked by a qualified electrician.
  • Keep children and pets away from the work area.
  • If the equipment makes an unusual noise, smells of burning or stops working, switch it off and call us on 07971 435221. Do not open the casing or attempt repairs.

Specific to this unit
